Asphalt Batching Plant

As the name suggests, asphalt batching plant makes HMA in batches. The cold aggregates are dried, screened, and stored in different compartments before being weighed and discharged into the mixing unit for mixing with liquid asphalt cement and minerals. Similarly, bitumen is heated and weighed prior to dispatch in the mixing unit. Minerals are weighed separately before dispatched. Here it is possible to use different grades of aggregates accurately and even the batch time can be adjusted.

Counter Flow Asphalt Plant

Counter flow asphalt plant is a proud offering from Atlas. The quality of hot mix asphalt that this plant gives is somewhere between the batch type and parallel flow type. This is a continuous plant utilizing the benefits of counter flow technology to dry aggregates in first chamber prior to mixing. Dust collection is in the first chamber and the counter flow heating mechanism allows additional fuel savings in addition to quality hot mix asphalt compared to drum type plants. Can be fitted with bag house for optimum pollution control. An option of RAP addition into the mixing unit is also possible.

Asphalt Drum Mix Plant

Asphalt drum mix plant is the ideal plant for customers who want to produce continuously in large quantities. The plant allows use of different grades of aggregates and uses one drum for heating and coating of aggregates immediately. The plant operates continuously. Mobile drum mix plant is available in capacity 20-30 tph and is continuous type suited for customers who need to produce small quantities of hot mix asphalt. Since the number of units and the size of each unit is small, this plant can be navigated easily and this is what makes this plant ideal for remote areas or places where the big plants cannot go. It also features 2 x 2 bin feeder and a single drying + mixing drum along with feature to add binder. Pollution control device can be provided with the plant.
