Portable asphalt mixing plant comes pre-wired on chassis for quick installation and start up time. One of the key advantage is that it does not require foundation to set up and it is possible to start the plant in short time with the use of foldable legs that are provided with the plant.
We are offering full mobility with prewired chassis with features like junction box, king pin system, pneumatic braking system, etc. on each chassis. The portable asphalt mixers are designed to give complete peace of mind to the owner. The control panel is PLC based which offers an edge over microprocessor based panel giving smooth operation and minimising downtime. Drying and mixing drum is insulated with cerawool which has the ability to resist heat up to 1206 degrees Celsius. Mobile aggregate feeder
Mobile asphalt drum mix plant comes with a portable aggregate feeder. This unit is sturdily built on a strong chassis fitted with speed variable drives on each bin to control and regulate the flow of aggregate from each bin. There are level indicators to indicate lack of material in any bin.
Gathering conveyor is equipped with scrapper and driven by a variable speed drive motor. Aggregate from the gathering conveyor is fed to the drum with a charging conveyor after removal of oversize material.

Mobile drying and mixing unit
Drying and mixing unit is the most important component. The rotation of the drum helps to evenly heat the aggregates in the forst half and mix the heated aggregates with bitumen and lime in the second half of the drum. This drying and mixing unit is mounted on sturdy platform and is driven by variable speed drive with sprocket and HALF CHAIN equipped with high pressure jet burner, flights, bitumen and fines piping, frame mounted exhauster fan with high efficiency dry dust collector fitted with screw conveyor for discharge of dust.
Design of the rotary dryer annd the flight arrangement ensures high efficiency in heating and drying the aggregates. These flights are bolted and designed carefully for each section so that each aggregate receives heat evenly and then uniform mixing with bitumen and minerals is possible on the other half.
Burner is a high pressure and low noise type designed for maximum fuel efficiency, so that you can save that extra bit with every ton and every drop saved counts. The drying and mixing unit is capable of heating the aggregate to the required temperature without any unburnt fuel and also remove carbon residue on the aggregate. It also reduces the moisture content of the aggregate to minimum. The mobile asphalt mixing plant is fitted with suitable type of thermometric instruments at proper places. This helps in indicating the temperature of exhaust gases, bitumen and mixture. For pressure Jet burner a suitable fuel storage tank with fuel transfer pump is provided.
Mobile pollution control unit
VENTURI TYPE Wet dust collectors are highly efficient and are known to maintain required environmental standards. The extreme turbulence in wet dust collector leads to superb entrapping of dust laden exhaust gas.
Large size stainless steel nozzle provides a clog free operation to ensure optimum cleaning efficiency for the pollution control device. These equipments are designed to fit and operate smoothly. Also available Bag house filters.
Mobile bitumen tank
Bitumen storage tanks by Atlas are built on FULL AND STURDY CHASSIS. This full chassis is ideal because the tank is built on a full frame which gives a superb strength to the tank. The storage tanks can be cylindrical or U shaped and come with a platform on the top to load bitumen barrels. These portable asphalt storage tanks are insulated with glass wool to avoid heat loss and to reduce fuel consumption of the burner.
Mobile bitumen storage and transfer tanks come with automatic pressure jet oil burner, bitumen pump with jacketed oil body, bitumen metering system with variable speed motor and hot oil circulation motor as standard.
Depending on the requirement of the customer, additional bitumen tanks can be provided. Extra asphalt tanks will increase the storage capacity of the bitumen and up to three tanks can be connected to the main tank.

Fuel tank for dryer burner is set on a common chassis with bitumen tank.
Mineral filler with bitumen tank
Mineral filling unit is adjusted on same chassis with bitumen tank and lime filler. This is to ensure maximum mobility and less hazzles.
Control cabin with bitumen tank
Control cabin is designed to be fully mobile in same chassis along with mineral filler, bitumen tank and fuel tank for dryer burner.
Cabin supplied is fabricated with M. S. Structured frame and insulated by wood. Cabin can be removed from the chassis and fitted at appropriate place at the site to have full view of the plant.
Panel board
Fully computerized cabin with on board electric power console, distribution, switch board, fully automatic processes are a standard. User friendly software ensures top notch performance.
Display of the entire process control parameters is possible. Provision to store, edit production details, mix proportions, etc of is possible. Panel enables the equipment to run in auto & manual mode.
An optional PLC panel can also be supplied. The PLC panel is compact compared to the microprocessor based panel. The PLC panel supplied is also very low on maintenance.
Programming can be customized which is not possible on Microprocessor based panel. Programming can be changed from the manufacturers end as per customer’s requirement and can be easily incorporated by the client at his site.

Load out conveyor
The load out conveyor is for discharging the hot mix material into a storage silo or directly into waiting truck. The aggregate discharged from the other end of the drying and mixing drum is transferred by an inclined load out conveyor to the top where is is partially held by a GOB hopper. Load out conveyor is heat resistant belt and is durable.
On the discharge end, the load out conveyor is equipped with a GOB hopper. This hopper comes with hydraulically operated gates. GOB hopper holds the HMA temporarily and helps control segregation in the mix material.
