Mobile cold aggregate feeder bins
Atlas make mobile asphalt mixing plant comes with mobile feeder bins. The standard plant is supplied with 4 bins. It is containerized design and has a separate chassis with axle. It is very well possible to customize the number of bins. Aggregates are transferred to the drying drum via a conveyor belt.
Mobile drying drum of asphalt batch mixing plant
The drying drum of asphalt batch mixing plant is mobile. It has its separate chassis on axles. Drum is fitted with a multi fuel burner. The burner unit perfectly compliments the drying drum and offers best fuel economy and proper drying of aggregates. Drying drum is insulated to retain heat. Aggregates will flow to the bucket elevator after drying.
Muti fuel burner
Burner unit is modulating type. It is a silent burner with all necessary safety features. The burner flame ensures that optimum thermal efficiency is achieved with less fuel consumption. Standard burner is compatible with Diesel and LDO. Burner is available which can utilize other fuels like furnace oil, natural gas, etc.
Pollution control system – Mobile bag filter
Standard pollution control device provided is bag filter. It is mobile on a separate chassis. Cyclone separator works wonders and does good job of trapping heavy dust. Lighter dust particles that will escape will be trapped with the bag filter.
Mobile asphalt storage tanks
Asphalt storage tanks are mobile. They are two in number and both of them have their separate chassis. Each tank is properly insulated from all sides by glasswool. It is possible to customize each tank size to suit your requirement. Tanks come with three pass thermic heater for heating. Tanks come with individual temperature and level indicators.
Mobile fuel storage tanks
Fuel storage tank provided is also portable. This tank is usually one in number but if alternate fuel needs to be used in the plant then more than one tank can also be provided. Tanks come with necessary piping, fuel transfer pumps and important controls.
Hot aggregate bucket elevator
Bucket elevator is tilting type. It can be erected at site within few minutes. It is enclosed in the tower section of the asphalt batching plant.
Vibrating screen
Standard screening units is four deck. The screens are easy replaceable and the screening unit is slided to a side while transporting the tower unit. Screen sizes can be customized as per your requirement. Screen area is large and provides efficient screening.
Hot aggregates storage bins
Below the screening unit we have hot aggregates storage bins. They are also 4 in number to separately store the 4 types of screened aggregates. Mobile asphalt plant will store the aggregates in the hot bins for limited time before discharging the same into the mixer.
Aggregate weighing system
Aggregates will be individually weighed before being discharged into the mixing unit. Weigh hopper will receive aggregates and once weighing for all 4 aggregate are done it will be discharged into the mixer.
Filler weighing system
Filler weighing hopper is suspended on load cells. It is for weighing filler material that needs to be added into the batch mixer. Butterfly valve will discharge the same in the mixer unit.
Bitumen weighing system
Bitumen from the tanks will be pumped into bitumen weighing hopper. It is a weigh tank suspended on load cells. This tank is insulated on all the sides to retain heat. Weigh tank will store and weigh bitumen before discharging it into the mixing unit.
Mixing unit
Twin shaft mixing unit is jacketed. It stays just below the hot bins. Once the hot bins discharge aggregates it will fall into mixer. Similarly, it will receive bitumen and filler material for mixing. There are two shafts each shaft is fitted with 2 planetary gear boxes. It allows homogeneous mixing in quick time.
Control panel
The control panel is inside a control cabin. Control panel is PLC touch screen type with SCADA. It has easy to use colour display. SCADA will allow you to access the control panel from anywhere in the world. It makes trouble shooting and software updating easy process.
