The main components of the offered asphalt plants are: cold feed bins, drying and mixing drum, bitumen storage tanks, pollution control units and control panel. We offer top quality components to our customers with a proven and trusted design which will give maximum up time of the machine. PLC panel is ideal and has edge over the traditional microprocessor based panel board offering the asphalt plant operator easy usability and low maintenance. Storage silos can also be offered to store the hot mix material.

Our standard package includes helping the customer in erection and commissioning the plant and giving trial run to the customer before they use the asphalt mixing plant.
Four bin feeder
Aggregate feeding bins are equipped with variable speed drive motors and gear boxes on each bin. These variable speed drive motors control and regulate the flow of aggregate individually thus allowing addition of required proportion of individual aggregates as per mix design.
The gathering conveyor supplied with asphalt mixer is equipped with a scrapper to keep the belt clean.
Vibrating screen
There is a single deck vibrating screen placed after the gathering conveyor.
Vibrating screen will help eliminate the oversized aggregates.

Conveyor belt
The charging conveyor is an important component. This conveyor helps to put the aggregates from below the vibrating screen into the drying and mixing drum for further process.
Not only this, the conveyor is fitted with a load cell for weighing of aggregates when they are being charged into the drying and mixing drum.
Charging conveyor is driven by variable speed drive.
Drying and mixing unit
Drying and mixing drum of hot mix plant is the most important component. As the name suggests, it does the task of drying the aggregates as they enter the drum and at a later stage, the aggregates are mixed effectively with bitumen and other minerals.
This drum is with specially designed flights which treat each type of aggregate thoroughly for drying and also help in uniform mixing with bitumen and other minerals.
The burner is efficient low noise burner capable of drying the aggregates faster.
Dryer burner
Asphalt drum mix plant with low noise and efficient burner is capable to work with diesel, LDO and furnace oil (optional). Maintenance free burner is with strong flame capable of heating the aggregates to the maximum.
Burner works endlessly to reduce the aggregate moisture content to minimum. The operator will get good production because of the specially designed burner which will give decent performance and desired results.
The plant is fitted with thermometric instruments at different places so as to indicate the temperature of exhaust gases, bitumen and mixture.
Fuel tank for dryer burner
This is the primary storage tank for the fuel to be used for the dryer burner. This tank can be attached to another tank to increase the fuel storage. Pumping station is provided with the asphalt drum mixers.
Mineral filling unit
This unit is for addition of dust or mineral to the mix material in the mixing zone of the drying and mixing unit. It is provided with a rotary valve driven by variable speed drive motor.
Filler material is conveyed to the drum through the drum through a pipe by a twin lobe air compressor. Air compressor is advantageous over blower used for pushing the minerals in the drum. There is a vibrating screen to allow free flow of material.

Bitumen storage tank
Asphalt storage tanks come as cylindrical or U shaped. These storage tanks are insulated with rock wool of 50 mm thickness to avoid heat loss and reduce burner fuel consumption. Storage tanks are mounted on a sturdy full chassis.
Automatic pressure jet oil burner, bitumen pump with jacketed oil body, bitumen metering system with variable speed motor and hot oil circulation motor is provided as a standard package with the burner.
Two additional asphalt tanks can be connected to the main tank and use a common pumping station. Depending on the requirement of the customer, additional bitumen storage tanks can also be provided.
Load out conveyor
Load out conveyor is used to discharge the hot mix material into truck. The other end is equipped with a GOB hopper. GOB hopper helps in controlling segregating of the mixed asphalt. It is useful to comes with hydraulically operated gates.
Computerized panel with digital display
Our equipment comes with pre-loaded easy to use software which ensures top notch performance.
An optional PLC based panel can also be supplied for better efficiency and low maintenance.

Control cabin
Cabin is fabricated with M. S. Structured frame and insulated by wood.
Strategic location of operator seat ensures complete view of the plant.
In case of portable asphalt mixers, the control cabin comes on mobile chassis.
Pollution control devices
Wet dust collectors work in combination with dry dust collectors to trap the dust which may have escaped from the dry dust collector. Wet dust collector settles the dust using water in the form of a sludge. This water can be used in the plant.
Wet dust collectors are provided with stainless steel nozzles for efficient spraying. The turbulence effect allows quick settlement of dust.
Bag house filters can also be made available.

Silos are supplied with standard safety controls.
Hot mix asphalt storage Silo’s are supplied in capacities 5 Tons, 10 Tons, 15 Tons, 20 Tons, 25 Tons and up to 50 Tons.

Asphalt mix plant is designed keeping the end user in mind. The quality of the machine is suitable for long life and even rough applications. User friendly control panel and easy maintenance makes this the ideal choice of many contractors.
Drying drum is coated with 1260 degree Celsius resistant cera wool in all our plants that are exported. High resistance of the heat resistant material ensures that the drying drum is thermally well insulated. Heat loss is minimum in this case. In conditions where the climate is cold the plant will perform really well.
Half chain drive mechanism for drying drum ensures less vibrations. The drying drum chain is equipped with half chain that runs from the bottom of the drum. This chain only engages the bottom part of the dryer drum sprocket. Overall vibrations are very less and the operation is trouble free. This is a certain advantage if you are looking for a machine that can perform for years.
Multi fuel burner works with three fuel types. The burner system supplied is compatible with diesel, LDO and also FO. Pre-heater for furnace oil is already supplied for customers who want to use the furnace oil as a fuel. There are many asphalt drum mix plant manufacturers who will just supply a “burner”.
Flights designed for homogeneous mixing and better heating. The flights are properly designed for homogeneous mixing and they compliment the burner for maximum heating with use of minimum fuel. The smoke is also less and burner is a low noise burner.
Bitumen storage tanks are fully stuffed by glass wool from all the sides. This means that the tanks are properly insulated from all the sides. This helps in preventing heat loss. The bitumen temperature is also maintained for a long time.
Bitumen pipeline runs from the bitumen tank to the drying drum. This bitumen line is jacketed and hot oil flows in the jacketing section. This will help the tank pipeline to be hot and bitumen can flow freely.
Mineral filler is provided with a compressor for blowing the filler material into the drum. many asphalt drum mix plant manufacturers prefer to supply mineral filler with a blower unit to blow the filler. This blower is not as effective as a compressor. Blower is cheaper alternative to compressor and fails if the material has a bit of moisture.
Storage silos are optional items provided with the equipment. Hot mix asphalt can be stored for some time if required. These storage silos are fully insulated from all the sides to prevent rapid heat loss.
Control panel is PLC type in all our export plants. This is a huge value addition because we can customize PLC as per our requirement. The drum mixer that is equipped with a PLC panel is a different machine than a plant with microprocessor panel. PLC panel is also maintenance free compared to the microprocessor panel. We always believe in giving the best to customers so that they can stay ahead of their competition. Not all manufacturers and exporters of asphalt drum plants offer plant with PLC panel.
Pre testing of all the plants is done to ensure that anything that leaves our factory is ready to perform with less hassle at the site.
